Yesterday I found this Arexx Robot kit here Reichelt.de The description from there is:
ASURO – Programmable Robot Kit
ASURO ARX-03 is a small, freely programmable in C mobile robot, which was developed at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in the Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics for teaching.
The ASURO ARX-03 is ideal for hobbyists, students and study projects, training workshops and training courses in electrical engineering and mechatronics.
The construction is carried out for the experienced electronics technician and a children’s game for the electronic entry without further notice. There are – except the board – only standard, with normal fine motor skills to handle and easy-to-find used parts.
Similarly, the programming can be done with freeware tools. ASURO making it well suited for hobbyists who want to take the entry in a processor-controlled circuits, projects for students, continuing education or adult education courses. Due to the fact that the entire development of the electronics (for the private sector) freeware tools possible, ASURO occurs incidentally to even prove that it is without complex and expensive software, equipment and machine tools capable of to construct a functioning robot.
ASURO owns next to its RISC processor, two motors, which can be independently controlled, a visual line tracing unit, six collision switch, two speed sensors on the wheels, three visual displays and an infrared communication unit that controls the programming and remote control via PC possible.
Supplied with USB transceiver
A nice cheap kit, all included.
